Something broken? Ask a human.
There is no ticket system, no bot, and no phone tree. Email us and a person who worked on the App answers — usually within a couple of days.
It saves a round-trip if you tell us your iPhone model, your iOS version, and the App version (in Settings, at the bottom of the screen).
The scan won't complete
Face the camera straight on in even light, hold the phone at eye level, and keep your whole face in frame. The App would rather refuse a scan than guess at a bad one, so it will tell you when it cannot see a face, when your head is turned too far, or when the light is too poor to score honestly.
Cancel a subscription
Cancel with Apple, not with us: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → LOOKSMAXBRO → Cancel. Deleting the App does not cancel it. You keep access until the period you paid for runs out.
Refunds
Apple issues every refund for an App Store purchase — we genuinely cannot, we never receive the money directly. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. Tell us too if something went wrong; we would rather fix it than lose you.
Restore a purchase
New phone, or reinstalled the App? Open the paywall and tap Restore. It asks Apple what you own — no account needed, because there is no account.
Delete everything
Settings → Erase all data wipes every photo, score and check-in from your phone. Deleting the App does the same. We hold no copy on a server, so there is nothing left for you to ask us to delete. Details →
Moving to a new iPhone
Your scores and history travel in your iPhone backup. Your photos do not — we deliberately keep them out of iCloud, so your Progress gallery starts fresh on a new device. That is the trade we chose for keeping your face off the network.
!Reporting a problem with the score
The model is a statistical prediction, not a truth, and it is wrong sometimes — especially in bad light. If you think it is systematically wrong, we want to hear it. We measure the model's accuracy separately for different groups rather than hiding behind a single average, and what we find is not always flattering to us. Write to us and be specific.
Do not send us photos. We will not ask for them, and we do not want them.
